Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kill Monger (ranked 949 p4p, 132 weight class) and Boris Matusov (ranked 1686 p4p, 208 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Kill Monger! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
19 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Boris Matusov! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Phil Schofield and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Monger leaves Matusov with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Matusov scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Well, if Matusov is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Matusov seems to be looking for submissions.
Matusov is taking a breather. Monger says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Monger is trying to stand up here but Matusov is controlling him well. Monger is looking to control Matusov's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Monger avoid being mounted? We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Matusov is looking for a kimura but Monger is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Matusov to get the leverage. We've been hearing good reports from Monger's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Matusov wants to pass to mount but Monger is defending the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Monger avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Matusov. Matusov working Monger over with strikes. Matusov thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Monger's head. Matusov wants to take a breather but Monger is having none of it. Matusov tries to pass the half guard into mount. Monger knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Well, if Matusov is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Matusov is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Matusov is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Monger doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Matusov. Monger is refusing to be controlled, as Matusov sits in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Monger wants to improve his position but Matusov is controlling well.
Matusov trying to mount his opponent but Monger defends it. Monger kicks off Matusov and gets to his feet. The fight stays on the outside here - Monger looks like he's thinking about clinching though. A looping hook to the body misses from Monger. Matusov does a little dance to reset his feet. And Matusov tries to counter it with a takedown but Monger pushes his down on his head and steps out. Matusov tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Monger defends well and Matusov ends up having to push Monger into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Monger lands with a slapping head kick. Monger instigates a clinch. Monger tries to land a knee to the head but Matusov blocks with his arms.
Matusov changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Monger fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Kill Monger has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Boris Matusov. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Matusov defending well as Monger loads up on a big left hand. Monger throws a hook but Matusov blocks it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Matusov has his takedown stuffed and Monger counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Monger wants to take a breather but Matusov is having none of it. It looks like Monger is going to stand back up.
Matusov has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. The fighters are battling for position here. Matusov manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Matusov wants to sweep but no luck. Monger has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Matusov to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Monger is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Matusov pulls down on the head and he's put Monger to sleep! This one is all over!
