Coming up we have a middleweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Humphrey Wellington (ranked 4761 p4p, 463 weight class) and Pithe Canthropus (ranked 7406 p4p, 0 weight class). Canthropus has chosen Pizzaman - Trippin' On Sunshine as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the middleweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Humphrey Wellington! And in the blue corner, fighting out of London, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 1 losses; Pithe Canthropus! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Yves DeLean and Gregory Folan.
Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious? Canthropus gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Wellington holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Wellington is pressed up against the cage. Canthropus has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Wellington down to the mat. Wellington avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Wellington rushes Canthropus and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Wellington jumps into guard, dragging Canthropus to the mat.

#R1# St Lazarus digs a good body shot into Canthropus's ribs. St Lazarus dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Canthropus throws an ugly left hook that misses
and St Lazarus counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Canthropus is breathing heavily. St Lazarus thuds a left hand into Canthropus's body. Pithe Canthropus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. St Lazarus throws a leg kick which misses Canthropus's front leg but catches the back leg as Canthropus tries to avoid it. Canthropus throws a jab but it's blocked by St Lazarus. Canthropus misses with an uppercut. Canthropus chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before St Lazarus can pounce on him.
A slapping body kick lands there for St Lazarus. St Lazarus cracks the inside of Canthropus's front leg. Canthropus takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. St Lazarus fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Canthropus on the side of the head. St Lazarus with a body punch. A glancing blow. Canthropus on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.#TD2# St Lazarus looking to score a takedown here. Canthropus is defending well but St Lazarus drives through and ends up in Canthropus's guard. Canthropus is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. St Lazarus controlling from the top position. #T1# St Lazarus lands a couple of elbows. St Lazarus lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. St Lazarus controls the pace of the fight for a moment. St Lazarus keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Canthropus's head. St Lazarus passes into half guard. St Lazarus moves nicely into side control. St Lazarus working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

And Wooster tries to counter it with a takedown but Canthropus pushes his down on his head and steps out. Wooster wants to land a leg kick but Canthropus is out of range. Pithe Canthropus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Canthropus misses with an uppercut. Wooster lands with a cross. Wooster moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Canthropus can't do much from the bottom here. Canthropus takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.#T4# There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Wooster controlling the position from side mount. Wooster scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Canthropus to see if he's OK. Canthropus takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Wooster keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Canthropus staying busy and making it hard for Wooster to control. Even with his hooks in, Wooster manages to miss with strikes from the back. Wooster keeps control of the position as Canthropus tries to break free.

Canthropus crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Chaowanungkarn - the referee stops the clock and Canthropus gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Chaowanungkarn. Canthropus manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A solid leg kick lands there for Chaowanungkarn.

Coming up we have a lightweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Pithe Canthropus and Suchart Chaowanungkarn. Chooooooooon! I think Canthropus might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Pizzaman - Trippin' On Sunshine. Chaowanungkarn has chosen Muay Thai fight music as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of London, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Pithe Canthropus! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Sydney, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Suchart Chaowanungkarn! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Hugh Johnson and Darius Henderson.
