The strikes coming from Boy are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Carlton struggling a bit here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Boy shoots in for a takedown but Carlton shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Boy misses with a takedown enabling Carlton to counter with a crisp jab. Carlton throws the left hand but Boy avoids the punch easily. Boy defending well as Carlton loads up on a big left hand. Boy slips under a jab. Carlton swinging wildly here.

And Maya tries to counter it with a takedown but Carlton pushes his down on his head and steps out. Carlton takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Maya lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Carlton on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Carlton throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Carlton jabs Maya right on the nose. Maya blinks but takes it well.
