Jackson slaps away a takedown attempt from Polo, before circling back to the center of the mat. Polo shoots for a takedown but Jackson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Jackson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marco Polo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Polo ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jackson moves away. Polo has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Some wild striking there from Jackson.

Polo tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Jackson!

Coming up we have a featherweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Predator Burns and Donnie Jackson. Burns's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Jiu-Jitsu. Donnie Jackson told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the featherweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Rio de Janeiro, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 4 losses; Predator Burns! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 1 losses; Donnie Jackson! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Yves DeLean and Dillan Fox.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Jackson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Burns sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jackson somewhat. Burns drives through and clinches with Jackson against the cage.
Burns pulls guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Jackson avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Burns has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jackson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. That's one minute gone in the round. Burns has his foot on Jackson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jackson works his way back into a safe position though. Burns is looking to cinch up a triangle. Jackson throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Burns's body to avoid the submission. Burns has instead reached around Jackson's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Burns arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

McBain avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Jackson tries to close the distance and clinch up but McBain swats him away and circles back towards the center. McBain looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Jackson misses with a head kick.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting McBain here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. McBain leaves Jackson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. The fighters circle momentarily. Coming up we have a lightweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Frankie Drake and Donnie Jackson. Drake's entrance music is AC/DC - Hell's Bells. A fine choice. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Jackson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Drake walks away with a smile on his face.
