Hunter has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Fields avoids the head kick by Hunter.
Fields attempts a counter takedown but Hunter avoids it well and moves away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fields looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Hunter with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Fields wants to free his trapped foot but Hunter is holding on for dear life with his legs. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Fields connects with a nice short shot to Hunter's temple. #T2# Hunter makes his way to full guard. Hunter has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Hunter misses with a punch to the body.
Hunter throws a punch but it's blocked by Jho. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Hunter doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Jho tries to break the clinch but Hunter is controlling the position. Hunter misses with a punch on the inside.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Hunter. Hunter tries to work over Jho's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Hunter misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Jho is trying to pull guard but Hunter has him pressed against the cage. Hunter misses with a punch on the inside.
Jho looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jho jumps guard but Hunter stands there with Jho around his waist. Jho gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

#R1# Hunter keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.#TD# Johnson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. You can see the frustration on Hunter's face as Johnson controls the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Johnson has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Johnson seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Hunter for as long as he can get away with. Hunter manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Johnson is staying active underneath Hunter, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Johnson is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Hunter's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Hunter's back! Hunter is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Johnson off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.#T1##SUB# Johnson is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Hunter won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Johnson off his unconscious opponent!

Luke Johnson decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. Rehab lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Rehab fails with the takedown. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. Hunter ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Hunter swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
