Coming up we have a bantamweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Austin Williams and Free Agent Steel Penn. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the bantamweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 5 wins and 2 losses; Austin Williams! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Hilo, with a TWGC record of 3 wins and 1 losses; Free Agent Steel Penn! The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Aleksandr Martynov and Valeri Chadov.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Williams darts in looking for a takedown but Steel Penn gets double underhooks and turns Williams into the cage. And Steel Penn tries to counter it with a takedown but Williams pushes his down on his head and steps out. Williams scores with a takedown into Steel Penn's guard. It looks like Steel Penn might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Williams is in all sorts of trouble here.

Badger connects with a body shot that sends Williams's belly button to the back. Badger uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Williams. Badger throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Williams finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Williams lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Badger thuds his shin into the meat of Williams's side. Williams looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Williams throws a low kick, looking for Badger's leg but Badger calmly moves out of range. Williams misses with a right hand and Badger counters with a nice uppercut. Badger ducks under a wild hook from Williams. Badger looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Williams wants to land a leg kick but Badger is out of range. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Badger.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Williams crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Badger - the referee stops the clock and Williams gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Badger. Williams manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. This has been an exciting period of action! Badger misses with a body kick. Austin Williams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Williams thows a leg kick but Badger checks it and Badger counters with a nice uppercut. #ROC2# Williams is rocked! Badger feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Williams's calf. Oh Williams is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! and Badger makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Badger circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Williams to the canvas! Williams doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Badger keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

#R1# Williams throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Kucera drops his hands momentarily and Williams takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. We've been hearing reports that Kucera has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Williams throws a hook to the side of Kucera's head but Kucera sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Kucera attempts a counter takedown but Williams avoids it well and moves away. Kucera steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Williams. Kucera moves out of range of the strikes.#TD2# Williams bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Kucera tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Williams wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Kucera sneaks back into half guard. Kucera has hold of Williams's hands but Williams slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Williams is nestled in close to Kucera, controlling him well. A little feinted left hand from Middleton on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Middleton lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. A left lands for Middleton. Williams dips to his left and cracks Middleton with an uppercut! Middleton showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Williams.
Middleton was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Williams looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A right-left combo lands from Middleton. Middleton throws a leg kick but Williams moved away. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. #R2# Williams blocks a jab. Williams doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. The fighters circling - Lefleaur throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Lefleaur takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
