Lazer misses with a series of wild punches.
Grace throws a counter combo.
Lazer throws a nice looking combination but Grace bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Grace has his foot on Lazer's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Lazer works his way back into a safe position though.
Lazer distracts Grace with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Lazer is in close to Grace's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Grace has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Palace of Pain Gym - VCL - Rio. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

Grace working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lazer doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lazer manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!#SUB#
Lazer has hold of Grace's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Grace tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Lazer cranks the arm and Grace screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Grace, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Major Lazer!
Major Lazer took his opportunity to call for a title shot in his post fight interview.
