Nice defenses there by Hunt. Gordus Clay seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Clay ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Hunt takes one on the chin but seems OK.
#CUT2# It looks like Matt Hunt has been cut. Hunt throws a shot from downtown. Clay moves away and avoids it. Clay throws a right and a left that Hunt avoids nicely. Clay throws a jab but it's blocked by Hunt. Hunt lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Clay wants to clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Clay moves out of range as Hunt strikes. Clay takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Clay defending well as Yuudai loads up on a big left hand. Clay lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Yuudai circles away quickly and effectively. Yuudai throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Yuudai drops his hands momentarily and Clay takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Wow, both these guys are really going for it!#TD# Clay closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Clay lands in his opponent's guard. Clay working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Yuudai looking to hit a scissor sweep but Clay is one step ahead there. Yuudai is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Clay postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Clay landing some decent shots from guard. Yuudai utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Clay trying to control the position from guard on top but Yuudai is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Clay is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Yuudai is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.#T1# Clay in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. Clay lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Klitschko takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. A head punch blocked on the inside by Clay. Clay is trying to drag Klitschko to the mat but Klitschko just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Klitschko is looking to break free of the clinch but Clay has double underhooks. Clay is leaning against Klitschko and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Klitschko tries to stall but Clay uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

That was a close round but I would say that Yegor Klitschko will probably get the nod. Pagnozzi definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Clay shoots for a double leg takedown but Pagnozzi sprawls well. He's pushed Clay's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Pagnozzi stuns Clay with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Clay throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Putin sees it coming and avoids it easily. Clay looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Putin connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. A jab lands there for Clay. Putin throws an overhand right that lands on Clay's shoulder, as Clay tries to avoid the shot. Clay bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Putin's head. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Putin has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Putin does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Clay throws the left hand but Putin avoids the punch easily. Putin on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A shot to the body from Clay misses and Putin counters with a nice uppercut. Larry lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Clay circles away quickly and effectively. Clay thuds his right hand into Larry's forehead from close range. That will wear on Larry if he has to take too many more of those.
