Tamatso uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Colt.
A head kick by Colt misses and Tamatso counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Colt looks to land a combination but Tamatso avoids it well. Tamatso sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Colt looks to land a combination but Tamatso avoids it well. Crunch! Colt slams his shin into Tamatso's torso. Tamatso misses with a jab, cross combination.
This has been an exciting period of action! Tamatso gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Colt counters with a straight right hand. Tamatso misses the jab. A counter left hand to the body from Colt misses its target. Tamatso misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Tamatso closes the distance and clinches up with Colt, looking for a takedown. Tamatso pushes Colt against the cage but Colt circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Tamatso stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Colt. Colt throws a hook but Tamatso blocks it. Colt throws a series of punches but Tamatso avoids them all with ease. #T1# Colt throws a leg kick which misses Tamatso's front leg but catches the back leg as Tamatso tries to avoid it. Tamatso tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Colt was well out of range. Poor timing from Tamatso. Tamatso throws a right hand that misses
and Colt counters with a nice body kick.
Tamatso throws a lazy right hand but Colt sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Tamatso misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Colt stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Tamatso misses with a series of wild punches.
Colt looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Colt slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Colt connects with a single shot there.#TD2# Tamatso decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Tamatso is pressing down on Colt's thigh, looking to free his foot. Colt is holding on for now. Tamatso keeping full guard, as Colt tries to pass. Tamatso pulls Colt in close to his closed guard and prevents Colt from doing any damage or advancing position. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Colt throwing strikes but missing. Colt throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Tamatso works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Colt postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Tamatso is trying to control the position but Colt postures up. #T4# Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Colt with a flurry of punches that miss. Colt is working Tamatso over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Tamatso seems keen to control Colt's posture. Tamatso keeping moving, preventing Colt from controlling successfully. Colt makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Colt stands up over Tamatso, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. #ROC# Tamatso is rocked! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tamatso is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Tamatso is still in real trouble! Can Colt finish him? Colt gets to his feet and stands over Tamatso, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Tamatso felt that one! Colt unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Tamatso from any more punishment!

He catches Handle napping and manages to drive through into side control!#ES# Handle throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! A punch combination from Tamatso misses. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Tamatso is defended easily by Handle.#TD# Tamatso gets caught flat footed, as Handle shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Handle wants to stand and escape but instead Tamatso has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. #REVB##SUB2# Tamatso drops back, looking for a kneebar! Handle looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Handle looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Handle! #REVR# Handle landing a few strikes. Handle works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.#T1# Handle landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Handle working away. Handle trying to control the action but Tamatso is working from the bottom. Tamatso tries to improve position but can't. Tamatso is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Handle scoring with punches from side control. Handle landing a few strikes. Handle lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Tamatso down.
#ROC# Tamatso is rocked! Handle scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Tamatso is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Handle can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!

#R1# Tamatso fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Stern throws out a counter right but Tamatso avoids it with no problem. Tamatso doesn't succeed with the takedown enabling Stern to counter with a crisp jab. Tamatso throws an off balance right hand
and Stern counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Tamatso misses with a wild body shot. Stern connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Stern feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Tamatsos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!#ROC2# Tamatso is rocked! Stern lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!

Tae Kwon Douglas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.#TD# Tamatso drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.#SUB# Tamatso is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Douglas knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. #SUB# Tamatso is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Douglas has escaped the position, nice work there. Tamatso in side control, just content to control the action for now. Tamatso has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Tamatso lands some shots froms side control. Douglas really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tamatso. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Douglas tries to get back to half guard but can't. Tamatso advances to mount. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Douglas has given up his back.

Tamatso smiles back at him and beckons him forward. The Kid has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Tamatso uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from The Kid. The Kid just misses with a punch to the body.
Tamatso will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
The Kid lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. The Kid circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Tamatso to the canvas! Tamatso doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - The Kid keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

He bounces straight back to his feet but is forced to take the mandatory standing 8 count before he's allowed to continue. We're back under way and the fighters meet in the middle of the canvas to re-engage.#CUT# It looks like Shin Murakami has been cut. Murakami misses with the body kick and Tamatso counters with a straight right hand. Good shot there by Murakami. Murakami throws an off balance right hand
#KD# and before Murakami can reset, Tamatso rushes him with a swarm of punches, sending him crashing to the floor, in all sorts of trouble! Murakami is trying to beat the count but we're up to 6 already and he's nowhere near. 7,8... he's up! He's going to continue!#ROC# Murakami is rocked! Murakami has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Tamatso connects with a crushing straight, right on the bridge of Murakami's nose, sending him crumpling to the mat! That's really rocked Murakami - is he going to beat the count??? 4,5,6,7,8,9.....10 - he's not made it - this one is all over!

Tamatso tries to bum rush Boshi with a series of wild strikes but Boshi uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Boshi moves in looking to clinch but Tamatso pushes him off. Tamatso throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Boshi stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Tsuyoshi Tamatso has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Boshi is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
And that's the end of the fight! Ryu Boshi comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Boshi has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

#TD# Tamatso gets a takedown into half guard. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Tamatso seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Tamatso uses his free foot to push down on Boshi's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Boshi. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB# Tamatso is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Tamatso extends the arm and Boshi is forced to tap!
