Burns has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Baxendines in the buildup to the fight. Burns has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Takahashi finds it's way round the side to connect with Burns's head. Burns comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Takahashi misses the shot to the body. Burns swinging wildly here.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Burns. It seemed like Takahashi was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Burns darts in looking for a takedown but Takahashi gets double underhooks and turns Burns into the cage. Burns shoots in for a takedown but Takahashi shows good takedown defense. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for William Burns. That's going to take a lot out of him. Burns walks into a straight right hand from Takahashi. A jab from Takahashi does it's job there. Burns shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Takahashi pinned against the cage. Takahashi gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Burns darts in looking for a takedown but Takahashi gets double underhooks and turns Burns into the cage. That kick from Takahashi tenderised Burns's leg. Burns is trying to keep his angry face on. #R1# Burns slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Nice body kick from Burns. Prime looks winded! The fighters circle, before Burns throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Prime's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Burns lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). William Burns! As William Burns got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: I just want to say thank you to Optimus Prime for fighting me and all my fans here to support me. I will always love the sport, its time for me to retire and start the next chapter of my life working within the Daredevils promotion, I will never forget you all and good bye!'.

#R1# Burns goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Zigaman lands with a cross. Burns pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Burns tries to close the distance and clinch up but Zigaman swats him away and circles back towards the center. Burns throws a hook but Zigaman avoids it easily. Burns misses with a series of wild punches.
#TD# Zigaman feints and as Burns raises his hands in defense, Zigaman changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Zigaman throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Burns works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Burns working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Zigaman. We've been hearing good reports from Zigaman's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Burns wants to stand but Zigaman is controlling the position. Burns has control of Zigaman's left arm, preventing Zigaman from doing any damage. Zigaman trying to control but Burns is working from the bottom. #T1# Zigaman prevents Burns from getting back to his feet. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.#REF3# The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Nova Zigaman overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Burns is positioning himself to get back to half guard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Zigaman cracks Burns with a big right hand but Burns just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Nova Zigaman dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. #R3# Burns tries to clinch up. Zigaman paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Zigaman fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Burns throws a leg kick and Zigaman counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Zigaman throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Zigaman scoring with punches to the head and body. Zigaman is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Burns can do to turn this around? Burns avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Zigaman has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Burns tries to land a sweep but no joy. Zigaman throws a big elbow that misses. Burns keeping moving, preventing Zigaman from controlling successfully. #T2# Zigaman lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Zigaman trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Burns can't keep his opponent in guard - Zigaman advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Zigaman seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Burns does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Zigaman passes the half guard and he's now in mount! He lands one big shot that has Burns covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!

As Nova Zigaman got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: I'm the champ. I'm the greatest. Yo' listen Junior... don't ever think you can compete with the freakzilla again. Whilst you're there, send you wife my way and I'll show her just how bombastic the zig-man is.'. #R1# Burns throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Dren sees it coming and avoids it easily. Burns pushes Dren away with a front kick. Burns thuds a left hand into Dren's body. Burns looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Burns tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dren swats him away and circles back towards the center. Dren will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Sloppy strikes from Dren. Those never looked like landing. Dren takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Burns misses with a straight left. Burns just misses with a punch to the body.
Burns lands with a right and another and another! Dren is in big trouble! Burns lands again and this time it's lights out for Dren! A quality knockout there for Burns.

Burns misses with a hook to the body
and Gomu cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Burns scores with a decent looking hook. A jab from Gomu misses. Burns staying out of range there. Gomu slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. A looping hook to the body misses from Gomu. Burns does a little dance to reset his feet. Gomu digs a good hook to Burns's body.
Gomu looks to land a left hand but Burns moved out of range nicely. Gomu swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Gomu dips to his left and cracks Burns with an uppercut! Gomu gets cracked there but stands up to it.
#CUT2# It looks like Gomu Gomu has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Gomu throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Burns stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Burns looks to score with a jab to the body but Gomu is just out of range. Knocksville throws a series of punches but Burns avoids them all with ease. Burns scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Knocksville swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Burns counters with a body kick that stops Knocksville in his tracks momentarily. Burns jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
#CUT2# It looks like Bob Knocksville has been cut. Knocksville is breathing heavily. Burns connects with an inside leg kick. Burns lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Burns.
Burns fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Knocksville has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Knocksville takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Burns connects with a body shot that sends Knocksville's belly button to the back. Knocksville takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Burns connects with a solid leg kick. Burns with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Knocksville takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Burns lands a front kick. Knocksville on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Burns cracks the inside of Knocksville's front leg. #T1# Burns jabs Knocksville to the body, keeping him at a distance. Burns moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Burns fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Nice body punch from Burns. Burns feints and then cracks Knocksville's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Knocksville down. Knocksville on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. That kick from Burns tenderised Knocksville's leg. Knocksville is trying to keep his angry face on. Burns fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Burns lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Knocksville at a distance.

Burns is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Knocksville rather than just go for the knockout. Knocksville on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Burns.
