Tjack throws a body shot but no joy. Jokinen with the counter takedown but Tjack avoids it easily. Tjack looks to score with a jab to the body but Jokinen is just out of range. And Jokinen tries to counter it with a takedown but Tjack pushes his down on his head and steps out. Tjack throws a body punch but Jokinen moves out of range. Jokinen on the wrong end of a nice jab. Tjack throws a poor cross that misses
and Jokinen counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tjack tries a head kick but it misses.
Jokinen thinks about the counter body kick. Tjack misses with a shot to the body and Jokinen counters with a lovely straight right hand! Tjack bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Jokinen's head.#T1# A jab from Tjack does it's job there. Jokinen shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Tjack counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.#ROC# Jokinen is rocked! Jokinen slips a jab from Tjack. Jokinen is still on wobbly legs! Can Tjack finish him? Tjack cracks Jokinen with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Jokinen tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Tjack pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Jokinen is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Otto Tjack! A less than humble Otto Tjack misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.

#R1# Attila missing with a left hand there. Jokinen was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Jokinen feints the counter takedown. Jokinen staying out of range there. Attila displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Jokinen. #TD2# Excellent takedown into side control there by Jokinen. Attila wants to control but Jokinen postures up. Attila tries to improve position but can't. #SUB2# Jokinen looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Attila tries to bench press Jokinen off him but Jokinen keeps the position. We've been hearing good reports from Attila's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Attila struggling a bit here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#T1# Attila is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Jokinen is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

It looked like Jokinen was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Ramos. Ramos connects with a leg kick. Jokinen looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Jokinen shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Ramos moves into range and connects with a jab. Jokinen stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Ramos. Jokinen goes for a double leg but Ramos avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Ramos continues to drive forward. Jokinen tries to move into range but Ramos moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Jab from Ramos. Coming up we have a featherweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Ori Jokinen and Alex Coxall. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the featherweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of London, with a TWGC record of 3 wins and 2 losses; Ori Jokinen! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 3 losses; Alex Coxall! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Leandro Rodrigues and Daniel Cesar.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Coxall gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Coxall is fighting off a takedown attempt but Jokinen is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Coxall to the mat. Coxall regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Hong has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Jokinen is landing a low percentage of strikes. Jokinen swats away the attempt to clinch by Hong. Hong takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Hong throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

The fighters circling - Jokinen throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Ori Jokinen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jokinen moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Smith throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Smith misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
