#R1# Strong looks to score with a jab to the body but Pintos is just out of range. Pintos throws a half hearted mid kick. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Strong is defended easily by Pintos. Strong takes a body punch but keeps moving. Strong throws a hook to the side of Pintos's head but Pintos sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Strong takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
#CUT2# It looks like Mark Strong has been cut. Pintos takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Strong looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Pintos connects with a good right hand that stumbles Strong. Strong circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Pintos keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
#TD# Strong feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. This has been an exciting period of action! Strong wants to control from the top but Pintos keeps moving. #REVB# Pintos wants to get up but he can't break Strong's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Strong looking for a sweep. Not yet Strong, not yet. Pintos wants to control from the top but Strong keeps moving. Pintos is looking to work some ground and pound but Strong has wrist control.#SUB# Strong is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Pintos defends well.#T3# Strong can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Pintos controls the pace.#SUB# Pintos content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Strong has locked up a guillotine! Strong's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Pintos is holding on here and Strong must be using up a lot of energy. Pintos has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Strong gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

Spike shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Pintos eats them both and turns towards Spike to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. A slapping leg kick lands for Spike.
Spike looks to land a body kick but Pintos moved away. Pintos misses with an uppercut. Spike throws a head kick that misses. Spike avoids the head kick by Pintos.
Pintos uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Spike.
Pintos throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Pintos bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Spike's head backwards. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Pintos throws a jab when Spike was well out of range. Spike misses with a double jab.

Pintos is badly hurt! Spike pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Pintos tries desperately to hold on but Spike is relentless in his assault! As Pintos receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Spike away and this one is in the books!

#R1# Pintos uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Nadir. Nadir lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Pintos circles away quickly and effectively. Nadir tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Pintos defends well and Nadir ends up having to push Pintos into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Nadir fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Pintos keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Nadir. Some bone on bone action there as Pintos checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Nadir tries for a takedown but Pintos circles away easily and Pintos cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Abed Nadir. That's going to take a lot out of him. Pintos swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Nadir. Pintos moves out of range of the leg kick from Nadir. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pintos is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Nadir. We've been informed that Pintos has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.#CL# Nadir drives through and clinches with Pintos against the cage.

Pintos dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Nadir stiff and motionless on the mat!
