#R1# Del Toro takes a swing at Teitsi's ribcage but misses. Good exchange - Del Toro coming out on top. Nice defenses there by Del Toro. Del Toro quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect. Teitsi walks into a jab. Teitsi goes for a double leg but Del Toro avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Del Toro continues to drive forward. Teitsi takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Teitsi takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Del Toro slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Del Toro fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Teitsi. Ernesto Del Toro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Del Toro cracks a nice hook into Teitsi's ribs. Del Toro chopping away at his opponent's legs.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A left and a right from Del Toro both land. Nice combination. Del Toro connects with a looping right hand.

The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Teitsi with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Del Toro seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Del Toro wants to lay and pray for a moment but Teitsi keeps working. Del Toro is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Del Toro has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. #R1# Teitsi chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Smoochie Wallace can pounce on him.
Smoochie Wallace swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Smoochie Wallace takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Teitsi uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Smoochie Wallace. Teitsi let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Teitsi fails in his attempt to clinch. Smoochie Wallace throws a quick counter kick to the body but Teitsi avoids it. Good leg kick by Smoochie Wallace there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Smoochie Wallace misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
We've been hearing reports that Smoochie Wallace has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. The fighters circling - Smoochie Wallace throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Smoochie Wallace avoids a kick to the body.

As Smoochie Wallace backs off Teitsi throws a huge counter combo but Smoochie Wallace manages to avoid it all. Smoochie Wallace misses the shot to the body. A jab from Smoochie Wallace finds it's way through Teitsi's defenses. Smoochie Wallace fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Teitsi manages to avoid it. Teitsi misses with a kick to the body and Smoochie Wallace counters with a good low kick that Teitsi was not able to check. Smoochie Wallace will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Centino misses with a jab, cross combination.
Centino lands a head kick. Teitsi smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Centino lands with a right hand. Centino throws a leg kick #TD2# and Teitsi decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Centino's guard. Teitsi throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Centino works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Teitsi postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Centino avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Teitsi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Centino swivels though and keeps the full guard. #R1# Steroidi Jr connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Teitsi takes a swing at Steroidi Jr's ribcage but misses. That kick from Steroidi Jr tenderised Teitsi's leg. Teitsi is trying to keep his angry face on. Steroidi Jr tries for a takedown but Teitsi sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Steroidi Jr connects with a solid leg kick. #TD# Steroidi Jr feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Teitsi tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Zsasz looks like he wants to counter punch here. A bone on bone clash there as Teitsi blocks the leg kick.

We've been hearing reports that Jokinen has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. He has obviously been working on it in the gym. Bas Dekkers has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Matti Teitsi. Teitsi connects with a body shot that sends Dekkers's belly button to the back. Teitsi swings for the body but Dekkers moves out of range.
