Graham walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Graham misses with a looping right. Graham tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tuilagi was well out of range. Poor timing from Graham. Graham misses with a two punch combination.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tuilagi connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Mason Graham seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tuilagi throws a hook but Graham blocks it. Byczynski slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Tuilagi crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Byczynski - the referee stops the clock and Tuilagi gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Byczynski. Tuilagi manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Byczynski lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Tuilagi is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Numa misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. A swing and a miss from Tuilagi. Tuilagi looks to score with a jab to the body but Numa is just out of range. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Numa.
Numa shoots and misses and Tuilagi counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Manu Tuilagi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Keiji Numa. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A chopping leg kick lands by Tuilagi. Numa fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Tuilagi avoids it really well and circles away. A little feinted left hand from Tuilagi on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Nasir works the jab nicely. Nice cross by Tuilagi. Nasir walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Tuilagi checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Tuilagi changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Nasir throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Nasir throws a shot from downtown. Tuilagi moves away and avoids it. Nasir throws a sloppy body shot
and Tuilagi counters with a nice uppercut. Decent striking displayed by Nasir there. Tuilagi loads up on a big right hand but Nasir slips the punch. Tuilagi uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Nasir.

Nasir really should have spotted the danger earlier though... either incompetence or over-confidence has resulted in a big L on his record.
