#R1# Escobar keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Stark closes this distance looking for a takedown but Escobar circles away.#TD2# Escobar throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Stark was covering up waiting for the punch and Escobar finishes the takedown easily into guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Escobar accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. #SUB# Escobar content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Stark has locked up a guillotine! Stark's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Escobar is holding on here and Stark must be using up a lot of energy. Escobar has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Stark gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

Stark has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Haigh is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Stark scores with a couple of nice shots. Haigh blocking the ground and pound attempt from Stark. Stark wants to free his trapped foot but Haigh is holding on for dear life with his legs. Haigh wants to control but Stark is keeping busy and won't allow it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stark looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Haigh has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Stark is working away from the top position though. Stark has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.#T1# Stark seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. Henry sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Stark scores with a head kick. Henry tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Stark looks to throw the jab but Henry is out of range. Stark misses with a leg kick. Henry checks a leg kick. Stark throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Henry scores with a sloppy right hand. Stark should have avoided that one. The crowd are loving this. That was a close round but I would say that John Henry will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to John Henry. Well Henry has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... A little feinted left hand from Krum on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Stark throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. As Krum backs off Stark throws a huge counter combo but Krum manages to avoid it all. Krum throws out a loose jab but Stark uses good head movement to avoid it. Stark has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it. Armstrong thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Stark is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Stark is still trying to improve position. Armstrong really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Armstrong wants to control but Stark is keeping him busy. Morgan went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Stark misses with a series of wild punches.
Stark has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Stark throws a nice inside leg kick. Morgan stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Stark. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Stark scores with a hook to the body. Morgan takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. #T1# Stark checks a leg kick. Morgan ducks under a wild hook from Stark. Stark throws a lazy head kick #TD# and Morgan counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Morgan. Morgan postures up and lands a big shot to Stark's brow. Stark is adopting a defensive guard. Let's hope that Stark has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Morgan trying to control but Stark is working from the bottom. Morgan is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Stark is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Stark is adopting a defensive guard. Morgan pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Stark is keeping the position for now. #T2# Stark is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. #REVB# Morgan is trying to get back to full guard. Stark content to control rather than advance. Morgan tries to roll over but Stark keeps him under control. Morgan wants to control but Stark is keeping busy and won't allow it. #T3# Stark passes to side control. Morgan prevents Stark from moving into mount. You can see the frustration on Morgan's face as Stark controls the position. Morgan is trying to improve his position. Stark is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. #T4# A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Morgan is looking to reverse the position. Stark tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Morgan stuck in half guard on the bottom here.#REF3# The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Good standup being displayed there by Stark as he connects with a hook. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Stark looks to land a combination but Morgan avoids it well. Morgan sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Steven Stark dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! #R2# Stark lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Stark scores with a nice body kick.
Stark thows a left - swing and a miss! Morgan throws a looping overhand right but Stark ducks down to avoid it. Morgan fails with an attempt to clinch.
Stark lands with a kick to the ribs.
Nice sprawl there from Stark as Morgan shoots in. Stark throws the left hand but Morgan avoids the punch easily. Morgan takes one to the chin there. Stark has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Stark. Morgan shrugs it off though. Morgan shoots in for a double leg but Stark sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Stark looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Stark with a jab. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Stark throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Morgan walks forward, straight into a front kick from Stark. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Stark swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
#T1# A solid body kick from Stark. Stark throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Morgan stumbling backwards into the cage! Morgan bounces back off the cage towards Stark, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Stark lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Stark celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:14 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Steven Stark! Steven Stark decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
