and Hobo counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Hobo throws a big shot that misses. Seppala misses with a takedown and Hobo makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Hobo blocks a low kick nicely. Hobo lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Hobo. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hobo throws a hook but Seppala blocks it. Hobo misses with the combination.
Hobo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Seppala circles away quickly and effectively. Seppala takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Hobo defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Seppala. Hobo misses with a wild body shot. Seppala appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Seppala shoots in looking for a takedown but Hobo manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Seppala's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Wooooo! and Hobo counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Seppala with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Hobo to score with a decent uppercut. Hobo throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Hobo has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off. Seppala will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Hobo lands with an uppercut that bounces Seppala off the cage and back into range. Seppala closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hobo circles away. Hobo stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hobo wants it to stay on the feet. Hobo scores with a sloppy right hand. Seppala should have avoided that one. Oh Seppala is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Hobo misses with a jab, cross combination.

#TD# and Seppala counters with a nice double leg into guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Seppala prevents Hobo from getting back to his feet. Seppala is working Hobo over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Hobo is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Seppala is controlling him. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The judges will like that one. The fighters circling - Seppala throws out the jab but it was never going to land. #KD2# Hobo drops Seppala with a beautiful combination! Seppala stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Hobo is looking for the KO! Hobo lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Seppala can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Hobo and Seppala drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Hobo.

and Williams counters with a lovely shot to the body. Williams bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Seppala's head. Williams lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Ethan Carter Williams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Seppala moves out of range as Williams strikes. Williams wants to clinch.#CL2# Williams takes the fight into the clinch. #TD# Seppala has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Williams regains guard immediately. Seppala missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Seppala wants to control from the top but Williams keeps moving. Williams keeping full guard, as Seppala tries to pass. #T1# Williams wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Seppala wants to pass the guard but Williams is keeping the position. Williams is controlling Seppala's posture. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Seppala accidentally thumps the mat. Seppala drops to his knees and Williams pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

#R1# Thatcher shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Seppala defends it nicely. Thatcher shoots in for a double leg but Seppala sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. A shot to the liver by Seppala. Beautiful body shot. Seppala lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Seppala fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Thatcher looks for a takedown but Seppala sprawls well. Henkka Seppala has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dan Thatcher. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Thatcher dodges the punch combination from Seppala.

Williams lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. A head kick misses from Seppala. Williams only half commits to the counter leg kick. Seppala misses with a jab to the body
and Williams connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Seppala looks for a takedown but Williams sprawls well. Williams jabs Seppala to the body, keeping him at a distance.
