Coming up we have a middleweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Martin Kampmann (ranked 6628 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michel Colucci (ranked 1214 p4p, 0 weight class). Kampmann comes into the arena with The Wild Boys blaring out of the sound system. Colucci has chosen Le temps des cerises as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Michel Colucci has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Colucci closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kampmann circles away. Kampmann has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Garden in the buildup to the fight. Colucci gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Kampmann holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Colucci turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Colucci is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Kampmann comes to the cage accompanied by The Wild Boys. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Kampmann tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Carter manages to circle out of the way. Kampmann stuffs the takedown. Kampmann seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Carter has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious? Kampmann closes the distance and clinches. Sumerod has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown.
