#R1##TD# Boulks throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Big Chop was covering up waiting for the punch and Boulks finishes the takedown easily into guard. Boulks stands up over Big Chop, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Boulks showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Boulks working some strikes from top position. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Boulks's corner. There ya go! There ya go! #SUB2# Big Chop looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Boulks makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Boulks is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. #R1# Boulks tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Beattie swivels and escapes. Boulks gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Boulks shoots in for a double leg but Beattie sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Beattie tests Boulks's chin there with a solid looking shot. Beattie misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Boulks throwing a counter right hand but Beattie manages to avoid it. Boulks fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Will Boulks. That's going to take a lot out of him. Boulks staying out of range there. Beattie has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Boulks takes a kick to the side of the head. Beattie lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Boulks sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Beattie swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Beattie fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Boulks. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Beattie lands a nice looking body shot.

Ouch! a nice leg kick from Beattie, right into the meat.

Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Boulks looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Beattie connects with a leg kick. Boulks looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Beattie drops Boulks with a naaaaasty hook - Boulks is in real trouble here! Beattie dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!

Very smooth. Wilson is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Wilson managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Boulks.

Wilson's coaches at Animal House have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position. Boulks throws a strike aimed at the side of Wilson's head but Wilson avoids it well. Wilson throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land.
