#R1# Power scores with a decent looking hook. La Haine fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Power looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. La Haine staying out of range there. Power loads up on a big right hand but La Haine slips the punch. Power has been working on his boxing with his coaches at London MMA Club in the buildup to the fight. La Haine fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. La Haine keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Both fighters circling a little - La Haine finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Power connects with a jab. Power attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. La Haine lands a nice hook to Power's body. Power takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Power tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but La Haine defends well and Power ends up having to push La Haine into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. La Haine tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. La Haine slips a straight right by Power. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the light heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of London, with a TWGC record of 4 wins and 2 losses; Jacques La Haine! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Sydney, with a TWGC record of 3 wins and 0 losses; Sungwon Jung! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Phil Schofield and Chris Edwards.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. La Haine moves in looking to clinch but Jung pushes him off.
