Bloodaxe walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Burnley moves forwards but Bloodaxe connects with a nice, crisp jab. Bloodaxe takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Burnley thows a left - swing and a miss! Bloodaxe swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Bloodaxe wants to land a leg kick but Burnley is out of range. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bloodaxe throws a leg kick that misses. Burnley tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bloodaxe was well out of range. We've been hearing reports that Lawson has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Bloodaxe wants to clinch up but Lawson keeps it at a distance. Lawson misses the shot to the body. Nice body kick from Bloodaxe. No joy there for Bloodaxe, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Lawson attempts a counter takedown but Bloodaxe avoids it well and moves away. Korgan Bloodaxe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lawson on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lawson throws a push kick but Bloodaxe slaps the foot to one side. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Bloodaxe! But no joy. Lawson throws a leg kick but Bloodaxe checks it. #R1# Palazzolo gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Bloodaxe. Bloodaxe cracks a nice hook into Palazzolo's ribs. Bloodaxe lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. #KD2# Bloodaxe lands a big head kick that sends Palazzolo tumbling to the mat! Bloodaxe takes a step backwards and waves Palazzolo back to his feet - he wants the finish!#ROC2# Palazzolo is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bloodaxe throws an uppercut from hell that sends Palazzolo clean off his feet! He's out cold! Bloodaxe stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
