and Risley counters with a lovely straight right hand! Cup catches Risley with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Cup throws a jab when Risley was well out of range. Cup throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Cup lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Cup pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Cup throws out a loose jab but Risley uses good head movement to avoid it. Cup looks to land a left hand but Risley moved out of range nicely. Cup throws a body punch but Risley moves out of range. Risley throws out a counter right but Cup avoids it with no problem. Risley connects with a nice looking jab.
Risley is looking to slow Cup down with leg kicks. Cup throws a right and a left that both miss. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Cup tries to close the distance and clinch up but Risley swats him away and circles back towards the center. That was a close round but I would say that Blue Cup will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Cup definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Cup swings for the body but Risley moves out of range.

Cup tries to pull guard but Risley forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Cup is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Risley pulls him back up using the underhooks. Cup is trying to drag Risley to the mat but Risley just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Blue Cup. That's going to take a lot out of him. Cup prevents a body shot from Risley. Risley tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Risley tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Cup's elbow. Risley digs a right hand into Cup's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Cup's gas tank. Risley taking a breather. Cup is trying to pull guard but Risley has him pressed against the cage. and Risley counters with a nice uppercut. Risley throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Cup stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Risley misses with a looping right. Risley moves out of range as Cup strikes. Risley misses the jab. Risley sizes up Cup with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Risley digs a good hook to Cup's body.

Blue Cup is winning the standup battle so far. This has been an exciting period of action! Risley has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Cup finds it's way round the side to connect with Risley's head. Cup throws out a loose jab but Risley uses good head movement to avoid it. Risley tests Cup's chin there with a solid looking shot. A big left from Cup misses. Cup needs to keep his hands up - Risley had a free shot at his head there. Risley has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off. Risley uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Cup.

#R1# Cup throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Risley's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Cup dives in looking to finish as Risley flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Cup's strikes! Cup is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Risley's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Risley was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Blue Cup! After winning the bout, Blue Cup thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Halo. Halo shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Risley but Risley pushes him off and we're back to square one. We've been hearing good reports from Bowman's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Risley not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Risley felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Risley is trying to escape the mount.

Risley throws a nice outside leg kick. Risley feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Comstocks jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Risley will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Risley does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Good agility. #SUB2# Risley has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Comstock is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Risley. Sir Comstock overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.#T4# Risley is looking to regain half guard here but Comstock keeps moving and retains side control. Risley trying to control but Comstock flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back! Comstock really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Risley. Comstock has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Risley's body.

#R1# Brown throws a lazy right hand but Risley sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Brown slips a jab from Risley. Risley stuns Brown with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. A swing and a miss from Risley. It looked like Brown was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Risley. Brown misses with a left hand and Risley counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Brown misses with a low kick. Risley looks to score with a jab to the body but Brown is just out of range. Risley throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Brown seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Brown shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Brown throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. A low kick from Brown misses and Brown takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
