McKane connects with a crisp jab. Jab, jab by Fenix - just one landing. McKane scores with a nice head shot. Good exchange - McKane coming out on top. McKane drops his hands momentarily and Fenix takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Fenix swings away with a leg kick that misses. Fenix throws a leg kick but McKane sees it coming and moves out of range. McKane misses with a hook. McKane gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. McKane throws a looping overhand right but Fenix ducks down to avoid it. Fenix now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Fenix lands with a thumping leg kick.
Fenix fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.#T1# Fenix closes the distance and lands a one-two. McKane on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. McKane swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

McKane has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Fenix. Fenix looks to land a combination but McKane avoids it well. McKane throws a nice inside leg kick. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Fenix throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Tristan Fenix dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. #R2# Fenix is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by McKane. Fenix lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Fenix throws a shot from downtown. McKane moves away and avoids it. Tristan Fenix seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. McKane ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Fenix moves away. Fenix misses with a shot to the body and McKane counters with a lovely straight right hand! Fenix swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by McKane. Fenix lands a nice looking body shot.
Horrible takedown attempt by Fenix or perhaps it was just good defense by McKane, which made it look bad. It looked like McKane wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. McKane lands a really nice looking cross but Fenix seems unphased.
#CUT# It looks like Tristan Fenix has been cut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McKane misses with a wild body shot. Fenix misses with a hook to the body
and McKane counters with a lovely straight right hand! A jab from McKane does it's job there. This has been an exciting period of action! Fenix looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Fenix is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from McKane snaps Fenix's head back. Fenix stumbles backwards against the cage. McKane steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Fenix's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Fenix just didn't come prepared.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Ozzy McKane! After the fight, Ozzy McKane was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly. Tristan Fenix spoke after the fight, saying '1-1.'.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Fenix. Tristan Fenix seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rose jabbing away but nothing is landing. Fenix misses with a body shot.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fenix throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Rose half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Rose keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Rose fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Fenix. Fenix misses with a straight right. Rose throws a chopping leg kick but Fenix manages to avoid taking any serious damage.#TD2# Fenix closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Fenix lands in his opponent's guard. Fenix cracks Rose with a solid left hand. Fenix postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Fenix forces his way into half guard.#T3# Fenix trying to pass the guard but Rose defending well. Rose on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Fenix thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Rose's head. Fenix is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Fenix winds up and cracks Rose with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Fenix is nestled in close to Rose, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Fenix lands a nice short elbow. Fenix looks to land a strike but Rose avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Fenix working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Rose's head. Fenix scores with a decent looking elbow strike. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fenix scoring with some ground and pound. Fenix trying to control but Rose is working from the bottom. Fenix throwing strikes from guard but Rose blocks nicely. Fenix keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Rose's head.
And that's the end of the fight! Tristan Fenix comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Fenix has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. Not this time though. #SUB# Adelhard with the active half guard here but Fenix passes nicely into side control. Fenix working away. We've been hearing good reports from Adelhard's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Fenix working the head with strikes. Who's going to make the next move? We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fenix working away.#T1# Fenix is looking to take a break and control but Adelhard is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Fenix in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Adelhard gets back to half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Fenix remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Adelhard will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Fenix tries to escape but Adelhard has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Adelhard somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back. Fenix tries to roll but Adelhard sticks to his back.
#SUB# Adelhard has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Fenix has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! We've been hearing reports that Fenix has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Matoshin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Fenix manages to avoid it. Fenix went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Fenix is looking to chop away at Matoshin's legs. Matoshin buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Fenix checks a leg kick. A big left from Fenix misses. Matoshin is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Fenix. Fenix misses with a straight right. Fenix tries a head kick but it misses.
Matoshin throws a jab but it's blocked by Fenix. Horrible takedown attempt by Fenix or perhaps it was just good defense by Matoshin, which made it look bad. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fenix scores with a body shot.

The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Matoshin keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Fenix will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Axl Rose has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tristan Fenix. Rose checks a leg kick. It looked like Rose wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Rose swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Rose moves away from the strike by Fenix. Fenix looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Fenix throws a hook but Rose blocks it. Rose appears to be looking for a big counter. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Fenix crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Rose - the referee stops the clock and Fenix gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Rose. Fenix manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Nice uppercut lands for Rose. That snapped Fenix's head back.
#CUT# The cut above Tristan Fenix's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Fenix fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Axl Rose is winning the standup battle so far. Rose cracks Fenix with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Fenix tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Rose pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Fenix is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Tristan Fenix decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

Fenix throws a lazy right hand but Garcon sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Garcon wants to clinch. Tristan Fenix has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!#T4# Garcon looks to throw the jab but Fenix is out of range. Garcon fails with the takedown. Fenix has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Fenix with a jab. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Garcon dives in and grabs Fenix's left leg, looking for a takedown. Fenix pushes down on Garcon's head and hops out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pierre Garcon. That's going to take a lot out of him. Garcon misses with a low kick.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Fenix tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Garcon was well out of range. Poor timing from Fenix. Garcon fails with the takedown. Garcon tries to score a power double leg takedown but Fenix sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Garcon somewhat.
And that's the end of the fight! Tristan Fenix comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Garcon has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
