Macotti kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Drown - Theory of a Deadman. Sithole comes into a darkened arena with his song building. I Miss The Misery kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Macotti changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sithole looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. It looks like Sithole might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Kyoraku slaps away a takedown attempt from Sithole, before circling back to the center of the mat. Sithole fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Kyoraku tries to counter with a takedown but Sithole is quick to defend against it. Sithole moves into range and clinches up with Kyoraku. Kyoraku is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Sithole pulls him back up using the underhooks. Kyoraku drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Sithole gets the underhooks and prevents it.

We've been hearing good reports from Sithole's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills.
