We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Dust has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Coming up we have a bantamweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Star Dust and Eli Armis. Dust comes to the cage accompanied by For Heavy Metal we will die!. Armis has chosen Mortal Kombat Theme as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the bantamweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 1 losses; Star Dust! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 5 wins and 6 losses; Eli Armis! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Paulo Santos and Thiago Cunha.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Armis takes the fight into the clinch. Armis jumps guard but Dust turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Armis fails to pull guard.

Donnelly tries to counter by clinching up but Dust breaks away and moves out of range. Donnelly scores with a jab. Dust looks to score with a jab to the body but Donnelly is just out of range. Donnelly fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Donnelly is looking to slow Dust down with leg kicks. Donnelly scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Dust on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Dust has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Donnelly finds it's way round the side to connect with Dust's head. Dust avoids a lazy jab quite easily. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Donnelly misses the jab. Dust misses with a head kick.

Star Dust seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dust attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Dust swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
The Gangster throws out a loose jab but Dust uses good head movement to avoid it. Dust throws a hook but The Gangster avoids it easily. Dust tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. The Gangster takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Dust swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The Gangster avoids the body shot from Dust.
The Gangster tries to close the distance and clinch but Dust swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Star Dust dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round! #R3# Dust throws a hook but The Gangster avoids it easily. The Gangster clobbers Dust with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. The Gangster tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dust paws at him with a jab and circles away. Dust throws a head kick that misses and The Gangster counters with a straight right hand. The Gangster is looking to clinch but Dust is avoiding it.
The Gangster throws a shot from downtown. Dust moves away and avoids it. A left lands for Dust. The Gangster showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Dust.

The Gangster utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Dust has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. The Gangster is trying to control the position from the bottom.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Star Dust. Well Dust has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win...
