Roy Nelson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Officer tries to clinch but Nelson is having none of it. Nelson misses with a straight right. Nelson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Nelson slaps away a takedown attempt from Channings, before circling back to the center of the mat. Channings is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Channings fails with a takedown attempt from distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Clayton Channings. That's going to take a lot out of him. Channings shoots for a double leg takedown but Nelson sprawls well. He's pushed Channings's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Channings swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Nelson. Channings uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Nelson. Channings looks for a takedown but Nelson sprawls well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Channings shoots in for a takedown but Nelson shows good takedown defense. #ROC# Lemieux is rocked!#CUT# It looks like David Lemieux has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action!#ES2# Lemieux kicks Nelson off and gets to his feet. Lemieux is still on wobbly legs! Can Nelson finish him? Nelson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Lemieux seems to have recovered his senses. Lemieux avoids a punch combination nicely.
