#R1# Khaan bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Vega's head. Vega tries to clinch but Khaan moves out of range. Khaan lands with a right hand. Khaan has been working on his boxing with his coaches at RCJ Machado Jiu-Jitsu in the buildup to the fight. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Khaan lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Vega has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Vega and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Vega has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Khaan. Vega moves out of range of the leg kick from Khaan. Vega throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Khaan counters with a stiff right hand. Khaan buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Vega takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Khaan misses with a looping right. Khaan moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromVega. Vega takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Khaan takes a swing at Vega's ribcage but misses. Khaan misses with a head kick.

A jab from Vega misses. Khaan lands a nice hook to Vega's body. Vega takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Khaan missing with a left hand there. Vega was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Vega throws a lazy right hand but Khaan sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. A punch lands to the side of Vega 's head but he takes it in his stride. Vega missing with a left hand there. Khaan was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. #T4# Vega throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Khaan fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Vega on the side of the head. Vega bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Vega closes the distance but Khaan moves to the side and Khaan connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Vega gets cracked there but stands up to it.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Vega throws a shot from downtown. Khaan moves away and avoids it. Vega swings for the body but Khaan moves out of range.

Vega is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

#CL2# Urai gets tackled into the cage by Vega. Vega maintains the clinch. Urai lands an elbow that stopped Vega in his tracks for a moment. Urai is working Vega over against the cage. Urai lands with a right to the head. Urai dodges an elbow strike from Vega.

Hayes definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. The fighters circling - Hayes throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Hayes bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Vega's head backwards. Good shot there by Vega. Vega shoots and misses and Hayes counters with a three punch combo that has Vega backing up. Vega nods at Hayes to acknowledge the strikes. Hayes throws a sloppy body shot

#CUT2# It looks like Virgil Dreesen has been cut. Vega wants to clinch. Dreesen seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. A lazy left from Vega finds it's target. Dreesen uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Vega. A jab from Vega finds it's way through Dreesen's defenses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Vega is looking to land body kicks. Vega shoots in looking for a takedown but Dreesen manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Vega's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Vega scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.#T1# A left lands for Vega. Dreesen misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Vega bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hughs's guard. #REVB# Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Vega wants to pass the guard but Hughs is defending well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hughs connecting with a few gentle strikes. Hughs can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
This has been an exciting period of action! Vega tries to control but Hughs wriggling away. Vega prevents Hughs from getting the reversal. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Steve Vega dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. #R2# Nice straight punches there by Vega. Hughs avoids a wild elbow strike from Vega. Hughs goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

With the fighters up against the cage, Vega throws an elbow but misses. Vega works on Hughs's body with a couple of short punches. Hughs takes an elbow to the forehead. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hughs misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Vega.

#R1# A jab from Tiyapairat misses. Vega ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tiyapairat moves away. Vega misses with a hook. Tiyapairat ducked under it nicely. Tiyapairat just misses with a punch to the body.
Tiyapairat lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.#TD2# Vega shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Tiyapairat napping and manages to drive through into side control!#ES# Tiyapairat throws Vega to one side and escapes! Tiyapairat is looking to chop away at Vega's legs. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Tiyapairat tries to close the distance and clinch up but Vega swats him away and circles back towards the center. A swing and a miss from Tiyapairat. A nice side step and Vega releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Vega fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Tiyapairat is looking to clinch but Vega is avoiding it.
Vega scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Tiyapairat throws a looping overhand right but Vega ducks down to avoid it. Vega looks like he wants to counter punch here.#T1# Vega takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Tiyapairat looks to clinch letting Vega counter with a right hand. Tiyapairat throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Tiyapairat fails in his attempt to clinch. Tiyapairat tries to clinch but Vega moves away and Vega counters with a lovely straight right hand! Vega tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Samak Tiyapairat is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Vega scores with a nice body kick.
