Uvol is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Hensen pulls him back up using the underhooks. #TD# Hensen has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Uvol clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Hensen softening up his opponent with strikes here.
#SUB# Hensen is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Uvol knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Uvol for a finish. Uvol covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
Hensen is not going to allow Uvol to sit and survive in this position. Uvol told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. #R1# A head kick from Hug lands but Uvol takes it in his stride. #CUT# It looks like Paul Uvol has been cut. Hug throws a sloppy head kick and Uvol moves out of range easily. Uvol appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. Hug throws a right and a left that both miss. And Uvol tries to counter it with a takedown but Hug pushes his down on his head and steps out. Hug throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Hug looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.#KD# Hug lands a left and a right that send Uvol crashing to the mat, dazed. Hug thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hug misses with a two punch combination.
Uvol is looking for the big counter here. Hug goes for a small jab and connects. Now Hug goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Uvol stumbles back but Hug runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Uvol to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Uvol will ever be the same after a knockout like that.

#R1##TD2# Uvol feints and as Blacker raises his hands in defense, Uvol changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Uvol scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Uvol keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Blacker's head. Uvol won't allow Blacker to get back to his feet. Blacker can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Uvol controls the pace. Uvol lands a couple of decent looking shots. Blacker wants to get back to his feet but Uvol is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Uvol controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Uvol landing some decent shots from guard. #ES# Blacker has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Uvol off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. #T1##TD2# Uvol gets the takedown into side control. #ROC2# Blacker is rocked! Uvol scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Uvol has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.#TD2# Uvol manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Hug on his heels. He'll look to pass Hug's guard now, I'm sure. Uvol must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
