#R1# Nice uppercut there from Pride. Pride lands with a shot to the body. #CL# Pride moves into range and clinches up with Kogert. Pride gets underhooks to prevent Kogert's takedown attempt.
Kogert is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Pride to keep the fight standing. Pride lands a knee to the head.
#BC# Pride breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kogert throws a body punch but Pride moves out of range. #CL# Pride drives through and clinches with Kogert against the cage.
Pride landing some nice looking knees to the body.
A right hook to the body lands for Pride.
#TD# Pride has clasped his hands together around Kogert's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!#SUB# Pride tries for a kimura but Kogert is defending well. Pride is looking to take a break and control but Kogert is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. #T1# Kogert tries to buck Pride off but Pride is having none of it. Pride misses with an attempted head punch from side control. You can see the frustration on Kogert's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Pride working the ground and pound.#T2# Kogert is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Pride scores with punches from side control. Pride looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Pride wants to control but Kogert is keeping him busy. Pride tries to score with some ground and pound. Kogert controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Kogert is trying to get back to half guard. Pride wants to control but Kogert is keeping him busy. Kogert tries to bench press Pride off him but Pride keeps the position. Kogert can't do much from the bottom here. Pride has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Kogert is looking for a sweep.#T3# Kogert taking punishment in the form of punches.
Pride is staying tight to Kogert's torso, preventing him from escaping. Pride is looking to take a break and control but Kogert is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Sloppy strikes there by Pride. Kogert dodges the ground and pound from Pride. Kogert tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Pride wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Pride wants to control but Kogert is keeping him busy. #SUB# Pride tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Pride has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Kogert manages to get back to half guard.#T4##SUB# Pride is trying to work for a kimura but Kogert is defending well.
Kogert has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Pride is working away from the top position though.#SUB# Pride is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kogert defends it well. We've been informed that Kogert has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Pride seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.#SUB# Pride seems to be working for a kimura but Kogert defends the submission attempt. Kogert is trying to control but can't.

Pinoy Pride dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. #R2# Pride checks a low kick from Kogert. Pinoy Pride seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.#CL# Pride instigates a clinch. Pride lands a damaging elbow. #TD# Pride turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Pride manages to end up in side control.#SUB# Pride tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Pride has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Kogert tries to get back to half guard but can't. Pinoy Pride overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Pride works to advance to full mount. Kogert defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kogert wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Pride.
Kogert is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Kogert bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!#T1##SUB# Pride has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Kogert should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Pride has tightened it up now! Kogert should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

#R1# Hansen looks to land a combination but Pride avoids it well. Hansen tries to bum rush Pride with a series of wild strikes but Pride uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Pride misses with a takedown attempt and Hansen counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.#TD# Hansen gets caught flat footed, as Pride shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Pride throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hansen works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Hansen trying to control the position here. Pride wants to control from the top but Hansen keeps moving. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hansen trying to keep a closed guard but Pride is proving a slippery customer.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hansen utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Hansen is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Pride controls from within his opponent's guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.#T1# Hansen keeping moving, preventing Pride from controlling successfully. #REF3# The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Pride sizes up Hansen with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. #CL# Pride clinches up with Hansen and pushes him back against the cage. Hansen avoiding damage as Pride throws knees to the body.
Pride is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Hansen is defending well for now. Pride has Hansen pushed against the cage. A left hand lands to the body for Pride.

Hansen must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.#SUB# Hansen avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Hansen works his way back into a safe position though. Hansen looking to pass the guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Pride is on top in guard.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!#SUB2# Pride content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Hansen has locked up a guillotine! Hansen's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Pride is holding on here and Hansen must be using up a lot of energy. Pride has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Hansen gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
