Armstrong is fighting to break Belleville's control of his arms but Belleville is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Armstrong accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Belleville tries to land a sweep but no joy. Armstrong postures up.
Armstrong is stalling in the full guard. Armstrong loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Armstrong throwing strikes but missing. Armstrong scoring with some ground and pound. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Belleville lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.#REVB# Belleville must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Belleville is pushing down on Armstrong's leg trying to pass to half guard. Armstrong is fighting to maintain full guard but Belleville has managed to sneak the leg through. Armstrong is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Belleville looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Armstrong with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. #SUB2# Belleville is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

A close round but Benjamin Belleville will probably get the nod. That's time! He has the arm isolated but Armstrong is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Belleville working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well. Belleville works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Armstrong tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Belleville wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Armstrong is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Belleville working the ground and pound.#ROC2# Armstrong is rocked! Armstrong tries to buck Belleville off but Belleville is having none of it. Oh Armstrong is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Armstrong is working hard here to advance position. Belleville grinds an elbow into Armstrong's temple. Armstrong is trying to improve his position.#T1# Belleville connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Armstrong some visible discomfort.
Armstrong is trying to control Belleville's posture but Belleville avoids it. Belleville lands a strong strike to the head of Armstrong. That's dazed him! Belleville looking to finish here. Armstrong is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Belleville lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!

#CUT2# It looks like Bruce Armstrong has been cut.#TD# Armstrong closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Armstrong will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Stark is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Stark has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it. Armstrong thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Stark is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Stark is still trying to improve position. That's going to take a lot out of him.#T1# Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Stark. Steven Stark is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Stark keeps the fight on the outside. Armstrong takes a body punch but keeps moving. Stark throws a head kick but Armstrong moves out of range.

Armstrong avoids a wild elbow strike from Stark. Stark misses with an elbow over the top. Stark tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Stark digs a right hand underneath Armstrong's ribcage. Armstrong let out a lung full of air as it connected. Stark pushes Armstrong back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Armstrong tries to pull guard but Stark holds him up against the cage and eventually Armstrong drops back down to his feet.
#T2# Armstrong jumps guard but Stark turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Stark comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Stark can't find room to land a body shot as Armstrong controls the action.
Armstrong is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Stark gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Stark working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Stark scores with a nice hook to the head. Oh Armstrong is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Armstrong jumps guard but Stark stands there with Armstrong around his waist. Armstrong gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Steven Stark seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. A body shot lands from Stark.

#R1# Good shot there by Balor. Armstrong slips under a jab. And Armstrong responds with a good body kick, but Balor manages to step out the way in time. Balor looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Balor lands a nice shot that snaps Armstrong's head back.
Armstrong on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Balor. Balor obviously looking to wear him down.
Balor throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Armstrong on the side of the head. #CL2# Balor gets tackled into the cage by Armstrong. Armstrong maintains the clinch. Armstrong is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.#TD2# Armstrong ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Armstrong no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. #SUB2# Armstrong looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Balor passes into side control.
