and Hughes counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Bailey misses with a wild body shot. Bailey fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hughes manages to avoid it. Hughes avoids the body shot from Bailey.

Hughes swings away with a leg kick that misses. Hughes lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Anderson circles away quickly and effectively. Anderson uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Hughes has time to react. Anderson avoids a punch combination nicely.

Lannister feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Hughes's calf. Lannister throws a big shot that misses. Hughes changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Hughes takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Lannister fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Hughes has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Lannister moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Lannister shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. A low kick from Lannister is predictable there and Hughes counters with a two punch combo. #R1# A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Creeper. Hughes stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hughes wants it to stay on the feet. Hughes is looking to counter punch. Creeper shoots in looking for a takedown. Hughes tries to sprawl out of it but Creeper keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hughes manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Hughes was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Matt Hughes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Slenderman Creeper. Creeper connects with a solid leg kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Creeper ducks under a wild hook from Hughes.#TD2# Creeper closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Hughes is pressing down on Creeper's left leg trying to get back to full guard. We've been told by Hughes's head coaches at Rape Academy (7 elite, 6 2x elite) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Lil Jon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jon thuds a left hand into Hughes's body. No luck with that takedown attempt from Jon. Hughes appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Jon fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Jon looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Matt Hughes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lil Jon. Hughes drops his hands momentarily and Jon takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hughes looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Jon scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Nice strikes from Jon there. Jon slips a nice elbow through Hughes's hands, connecting with Hughes's forehead. Jon tries to pass to full mount but Hughes defends it. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Jon connects with a nice short shot to Hughes's temple. #T2# Jon is nestled in close to Hughes, controlling him well.
