#CUT# It looks like Shelby Foote has been cut. Volkov bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Foote tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. #CL# Volkov darts in and clinches Foote up against the cage. Foote misses with some punches.
Foote tries to work over Volkov's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. #BC# Volkov's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Foote throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Volkov looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger. No luck for Volkov with that takedown attempt. Foote bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Volkov's head. Foote throws a hook but Volkov avoids it easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Foote closes this distance looking for a takedown but Volkov circles away. A nice inside leg kick there by Volkov. That's going to slow Foote down. Foote slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Foote scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Foote ducks down and throws a hook to the body. That was a close round but I would say that Ruslan Mstislav Volkov will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Shelby Foote's cut. Foote lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Foote thows a huge punch but Volkov dodges it nicely.
Foote wants to free his trapped foot but Volkov is holding on for dear life with his legs. Foote wants to lay and pray for a moment but Volkov keeps working.

Munoz lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Munoz lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Calirante goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Calirante throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Volkov stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Volkov connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Calirante on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Nice body punch from Calirante. Volkov lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Calirante has been working on his boxing with his coaches at LOD: Lightning Kicks (MaxID266K) in the buildup to the fight. Calirante steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Volkov. Calirante fires out a quick counter leg kick but Volkov just manages to avoid it. Volkov fails in his attempt to clinch. Calirante takes a punch right to his stomach.
