and Gautier counters with a body kick. #KD2# Perri drops Gautier with a nice combination! Perri dives into Gautier's guard, looking to finish!
#CUT2# It looks like Pierre Gautier has been cut. Perri in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Gautier controls Perri momentarily but Perri frees himself. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. This has been an exciting period of action!#SUB2# Perri thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Perri wants to get up but he can't break Gautier's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Perri throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Gautier wants to stand but Perri is controlling the position. Perri connects with a couple of short punches. Gautier pulls Perri in close to prevent any damage. Gautier has a closed guard, preventing Perri from standing up. #T1# Perri wants to stand and escape but instead Gautier has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. #REVR# Gautier wants to control from the top but Perri keeps moving. #SUB2# Perri working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Gautier has passed into half guard!

#T2##SUB2# Perri is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Gautier pulls his head out easily. Perri wants to get back to full guard. Perri missing with punches from the bottom.
Perri is looking for a sweep. Gautier is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Perri is trying to stand up here but Gautier is controlling him well. Gautier wants to take a breather but Perri is having none of it. #REF3# The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Gautier gets cracked there but stands up to it.
#KD2# Nice combo by Perri! Oh, that's hurt him - Gautier falls to the canvas and Perri follows him into side control. #ROC2# Gautier is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Perri creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Gautier sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Oh Gautier is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!#T3##SU2# Perri has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Perri looks to land a combination but Gautier avoids it well. Gautier feinted there with a counter leg kick. Gautier wants to stay close but Perri steps back to make room for something. Gautier seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Perri and Gautier drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!

Perri throws a head kick that misses and Murray counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.#CUT2# It looks like Matt Perri has been cut. Murray throws a body punch but Perri moves out of range. #TD2# Murray closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Perri quickly recovers to half guard. Perri works his way to full guard. Good work. Murray throws a strike but Perri rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. #REVR# Murray avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Perri passes easily into side control. Nice work. Murray is looking for a sweep. Perri just content to control the position. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Perri scoring with punches from side control. #T1# Murray stops Perri from passing to mount. Perri creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Murray sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Murray is looking for a sweep. Perri throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Perri trying to control the position but Murray is working away. Murray is letting Perri control him for a moment. Murray is working to avoid the ground and pound but Perri connects with a decent elbow. Perri gets to mount! Murray was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. #T2# Perri punching from mount but Murray doing a good job of avoiding damage. Perri controlling his opponent. Perri thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

#T3# The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Perri pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Murray is keeping the position for now. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Perri accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Murray controls Perri momentarily but Perri frees himself. Murray is adopting a defensive guard. Murray looking to hit a scissor sweep but Perri is one step ahead there. #T4# A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Perri trying to control the position from guard on top but Murray is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Perri stands up over Murray, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Perri postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Murray is trying to control the position but Perri postures up. Murray is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.#REF3# The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Murray connects with a looping right hand.

A close round but Lee Murray will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Matt Perri's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! #R2# Some bone on bone action there as Murray checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. The fighters are battling for position here. Perri manages to regain full guard. Nice work. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Perri is on top in guard.
#REVR# Perri in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Perri looking to sit in guard and control but Murray gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. #REVB# Perri tries to land a sweep but no joy. Murray trying to control but Perri is working from the bottom. Murray is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.#T1# Murray won't allow Perri to sweep him here. Perri being controlled here, momentarily. Murray preventing the sweep. Perri is working hard here to advance position.#T2# The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Murray is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Perri bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Murray sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Perri's guard. Perri is looking to improve his position.

Lee Murray showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Matt Perri's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round! #R3# Murray throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Perri feinted there with a counter leg kick. Perri moves out of range of the body kick from Murray.
Murray with a body punch. A glancing blow. Murray lands with an uppercut that bounces Perri off the cage and back into range. Perri has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Murray. Murray cracks Perri with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Perri falls to his knees and Murray doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lee Murray! As Lee Murray got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: Was that one of the worlds best fighters I just beat? Wow!'.

#R1# Perri scores with a sloppy right hand. Clifton should have avoided that one. Perri throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Clifton sees it coming and avoids it easily.#TD# Clifton looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Perri felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Perri is trying to control but can't.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Clifton is pressing down on Perri's thigh, looking to free his foot. Perri is holding on for now. #R1# Perri pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Perri does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. An inside leg kick from Perri misses. Perri swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Garcilazo avoids a kick to the body.
Perri misses with a few strikes there.
Perri throws a head kick that misses. Garcilazo is looking for the big counter here. Perri throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Perri throws a shot from downtown. Steiner moves away and avoids it. Steiner cracks Perri with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes. Steiner throws a body punch but Perri moves out of range. And Perri tries to counter it with a takedown but Steiner pushes his down on his head and steps out. Perri pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Steiner is looking to counter punch. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Perri has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Steiner throws a good cross that connects.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Steiner connects with a single shot there. #R1# Perri misses with an uppercut. Perri connects with a single shot there. Perri seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. West connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Perri momentarily.
#CUT2# It looks like Matt Perri has been cut. West connects with a high kick. Good work by West as he checks the leg kick. West connects with a solid leg kick. Perri lands a nice hook to West's body. West takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. West motions for Perri to come forward. West throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. West just misses with a punch to the body.
Perri appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Perri moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. West walks into a jab.#CUT# It looks like Wayde West has been cut. A head kick misses from Perri. Perri connects with a leg kick. West looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. West throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Perri ducks down and throws a hook to the body but West moves away. Jab from West. West misses with a straight right. Perri slips a jab from West.#T1# Perri will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
West feints the counter takedown. Perri throws a lazy right hand but West sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Perri waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract West. Perri connects with an inside leg kick. West tries a head kick but it misses.
Perri tries to counter with a takedown but West is quick to defend against it. West tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. West lands with an uppercut that bounces Perri off the cage and back into range. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from West lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Perri has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Perri and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Perri lands a really nice looking cross but West seems unphased.
