Gracie gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily #TD2# and Ponjev counters with a nice double leg into side control. Gracie won't be happy with that. Ponjev is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Gracie will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Gracie is looking for a sweep. Ponjev wants to control but Gracie is keeping him busy. Gracie regains half guard. Gracie slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Ponjev with a nice head shot there.#SUB# Ponjev got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gracie has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ponjev has managed to get both his arms back between Gracie's legs - danger averted. Gracie looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Ponjev working some strikes from top position. Blazing was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Gracie misses with a body shot.

Blazing went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Blazing fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Gracie is out of range. Blazing throws a right and a left that Gracie avoids nicely. Gracie tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Danga de danga de dang - Blazing scores with a four punch combination!#CUT# It looks like Ceaser Gracie has been cut. Gracie on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Gracie swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

A low kick from Gracie lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Blazing has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Blazing and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. A cross from Blazing lands. Blazing throws a right and a left that both miss. Gracie ducks under a wild hook from Blazing. Gracie misses with a series of wild punches.

Gracie slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Gracie gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Gracie throws a right and a left that Blazing avoids nicely. A swing and a miss from Blazing. Blazing tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Gracie is able to avoid easily. A punch combination from Gracie misses. Some bone on bone action there as Gracie checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Blazing lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Gracie throws a combination that misses letting Blazing counter with a right hand. Blazing throws a series of punches but Gracie moves out of range. #T4# Gracie is looking to score with low kicks. It looked like Blazing wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Blazing digs a good body shot into Gracie's ribs. Gracie throws a chopping leg kick but Blazing manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Blazing just misses with a punch to the body.

Gracie tries to pull guard but Blazing holds him up against the cage and eventually Gracie drops back down to his feet.
