A very excited looking Mark Riccuito rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

Claymore Longshanks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Ee lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Longshanks has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Longshanks and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Ee crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Lei - the referee stops the clock and Ee gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Lei. Ee manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Ee has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ee flashes Lei a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Lei's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Lei crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Ee punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!

We've been hearing good reports from Ee's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
