Coming up we have a super heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Huub Huizenaar and Phillip Brooks. Brooks is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Cult of personality . Man, I cannot wait for this one!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. And in the blue corner, fighting out of Montreal, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Phillip Brooks!
The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Francis DeMontford and Donatello Bradman.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Brooks closes the distance and clinches.
Huizenaar manages to pull guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brooks is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Huizenaar defends it well.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Huizenaar working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Brooks doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Brooks manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

After the fight, Huub Huizenaar was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly. |
