He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Peace to score with a decent uppercut. Shaw has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Shaw looks to score with a jab to the body but Peace is just out of range. Peace cracks Shaw with an open hand slap. Peace moves away from the strike by Shaw. Peace thinks about countering with a body kick. Shaw needs to keep his hands up - Peace had a free shot at his head there. Peace moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.#CL2# Shaw clinches up with Peace and pushes him back against the cage. Shaw scores with a hook to the body. That's better than Peace was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Cantor is looking for a sweep. Peace is looking to take a break and control but Cantor is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Peace is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Cantor will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cantor tries to get back to half guard but can't. Cantor is working hard here to advance position.#T1##SUB2# Peace looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Cantor is looking for a sweep. Peace is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Cantor trying to remain calm as Peace controls from the top position. Cantor's coaches at Spetznaz Training Center have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position. It looks like Peace might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Peace throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Peace swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Socha. Socha on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Peace throws a hook but Socha avoids it easily. Peace moves out of range as Socha strikes. Peace slips a straight right by Socha. Peace really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves.
