Coming up we have a super heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Buster Quinn and Ernst Young. Quinn kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Boats & Hoes. Young has chosen Eye Of The Tiger as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Buster Quinn! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Amsterdam, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Ernst Young! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Cecil Peabody.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Quinn closes the distance and clinches. Young tries for a takedown. No joy.

We've been hearing good reports from Quinn's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Young slows the pace down. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

That's nine minutes gone in the round. A bit of a lull in the action here. Quinn is trying to escape the position but Young is controlling the position. Young's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Young wants to control but Quinn is keeping him busy.
That's ten minutes gone in the round. Quinn trying to remain calm as Young controls from the top position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Quinn struggling a bit here. Young controls the position from side control. Quinn can't do much from the bottom here.
That's eleven minutes gone in the round. Young is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Quinn will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Quinn tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Young wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Young controlling the position.

That's thirteen minutes gone in the round. Young wants to control but Quinn is keeping him busy. Quinn is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Quinn looking for a sweep but Young has passed into full mount! Oh no! Score +2 for reaching mount: Quinn (0) vs (5) Young Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Young is looking to work his way around to Quinn's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.
And that's the end of the fight! Young wins on points by 5 to 0. A relieved looking Ernst Young thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it. |

Quinn lands an elbow just above Bolan 's eye. Quinn creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Bolan connects with a nasty looking knee right to Quinn's face.
Quinn avoids the elbow strike from Bolan, against the cage.
Bolan tries to work over Quinn's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Bolan misses with a hook to the ribs.
Bolan with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. #CUT# It looks like Buster Quinn has been cut. Quinn looking for a takedown. Bolan can't find room to land a body shot as Quinn controls the action.
Quinn lands a hook to the side of the head. Bolan blocking some punches.
Bolan lands a nice knee to the body. Bolan lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
This has been an exciting period of action! Bolan misses with a punch to the body.
Bolan lands a good knee to the midsection. Quinn won't want to take too many of those. Quinn tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. A right hook to the body lands for Bolan.
Quinn looks winded! Quinn swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Bolan presses Quinn against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Quinn misses with a hook from the clinch. #T1# Bolan lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Bolan tries a body shot but Quinn blocks it.

#KD# Bolan drops Quinn with a big knee straight up the middle! Quinn is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet! #ROC# Quinn is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.#CL# The fight moves into the clinch position. Quinn is still on wobbly legs! Can Bolan finish him? Bolan jerks Quinn to the side and lands a massive knee to the head that knocks him out cold! Quinn's lifeless body is proped up only by the cage. Bolan steps back, hand raised, as the crowd goes wild!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Knee). Mack Bolan! After winning the bout, Mack Bolan thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.

#R1# Ap Nudd throws a nice outside leg kick. No joy there for Quinn, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Ap Nudd feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Quinns jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! A decent looking body kick lands there for Ap Nudd. Good shot there by Ap Nudd. Quinn closes the distance and lands a one-two.#CUT2# It looks like Edern Ap Nudd has been cut. Ap Nudd throws a right hand that Quinn ducks under and follows up with a left that Quinn also avoids with ease. Ap Nudd keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Quinn. Quinn throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ap Nudd throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Quinn steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Ap Nudd. Quinn swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Ap Nudd counters with an inside leg kick. Ap Nudd connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Quinn circles away from the clinch attempt.
Nice uppercut lands for Quinn. That snapped Ap Nudd's head back.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Quinn throws a poor cross that misses
and Ap Nudd counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Quinn is looking to land body kicks. Quinn tries to bum rush Ap Nudd with a series of wild strikes but Ap Nudd uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Quinn showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Ap Nudd.
Ap Nudd drops Quinn with a naaaaasty hook - Quinn is in real trouble here! Ap Nudd dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Edern Ap Nudd! Edern Ap Nudd decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
