Parker throws a lazy head kick and Fortune counters with a lovely straight right hand! Fortune misses with a combination
and Parker counters with an outside leg kick.
Fortune has been working on his boxing with his coaches at LOD - Slaughterhouse in the buildup to the fight. Parker throws a shot from downtown. Fortune moves away and avoids it. We've been informed that Parker has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Parker throws a wild body kick that Fortune sees coming a mile off. Fortune lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Parker circles away quickly and effectively. Kelvin Parker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fortune turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Parker swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Parker misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Fortune.

Fortune misses with a left hand and Parker cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. A decent looking cross lands there for Fortune. Fortune lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Parker falls backwards - clearly groggy! Fortune dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
