MacFarlane comes to the ring accompanied by The Foggy Dew. Brandis is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Lynyrd Skynyrd : The Ballad of Curtis Loew. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

And in the blue corner, fighting out of London, with a TWGC record of 13 wins and 5 losses; Fletch Brandis! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious? MacFarlane closes the distance and pushes Brandis back into the ropes. MacFarlane wants to take the fight to the mat but Brandis manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. The crowd seem to be enjoying MacFarlane's choice of entrance music: The Foggy Dew. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. MacFarlane pushes Laibon up against the ropes in a clinch. We've been hearing reports that Laibon has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Laibon is working for a takedown up against the ropes. He can't get it on this occasion though. MacFarlane gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Laibon regains guard.

MacFarlane has chosen The Foggy Dew as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Rian MacFarlane was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

#R1# MacFarlane swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Lock.#CUT2# It looks like Quantum Lock has been cut. MacFarlane throws a nice inside leg kick. Lock shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. MacFarlane doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Lock takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. A jab from MacFarlane does it's job there. MacFarlane will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Lock is looking for a counter combo. A nice inside leg kick there by MacFarlane. That's going to slow Lock down. MacFarlane lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.#CUT2# Quantum Lock's cut is getting worse. Lock throws a body kick, spinning off balance and MacFarlane counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. MacFarlane keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
