Bruza tries to close the distance and clinch but Newell swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Newell feints and then cracks Bruza's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bruza down. Newell misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bruza.
Bruza slips a straight right by Newell. Newell misses with an uppercut. Bruza throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. The fighters circle momentarily. Newell darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Newell misses with a lunging right hand
and Bruza counters with a stiff right hand. #CL# Newell tries to keep at a distance but Bruza has taken the fight into the clinch. Bruza throws an elbow but it misses.
Bruza pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Bruza lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Newell blocks the elbow strike.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Newell drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Bruza gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Newell is putting a hurting on Bruza here, landing some big shots from side control. Oh Bruza is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!#T3# Newell grinds an elbow into Bruza's temple. Newell is looking to take a break and control but Bruza is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Bruza wants to get back to his feet but Newell drags him back down. The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Newell!

Our winner, Tooza Bruza, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans. In defeat, Luck Chiddell stepped up to the mic, saying 'He is a little bitch'.

Germano throws an elbow but Bruza slips to the side and avoids it well.#SUB2# Germano has hold of Bruza's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Bruza seems comfortable defending it but Germano has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Bruza is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Bruza is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Germano couldn't care less - he's delighted!
