Eikmeyer shoots in for a takedown but Jetstrean shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Jetstrean throws a big counter head kick but Eikmeyer avoids it with no problem. Jetstrean misses with a head kick.
No luck for Eikmeyer with that takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mario Eikmeyer. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jetstrean manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.#ES# Jetstrean pushes Smith off and gets back to his feet.

Jetstrean has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Holding Cell in the buildup to the fight. Nice shot lands for Jetstrean.
