Paulman tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kin swivels and escapes. Kin slaps away a takedown attempt from Paulman, before circling back to the center of the mat. No luck with that takedown attempt from Paulman. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Russell Paulman. That's going to take a lot out of him. Paulman tries to clinch but Kin is having none of it. #CL2# Kin moves into the clinch. Kin looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Kin takes a knee right on the jaw!

Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Paulman was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
