#R1# Horrible takedown attempt by Hunter or perhaps it was just good defense by DeNardo, which made it look bad. #TD# DeNardo shoots in and bounces Hunter off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Hunter is trying to control the position but DeNardo postures up. DeNardo passes Hunter's left leg - he's now in half guard. Hunter tries to get to full guard but DeNardo has control of the leg. DeNardo performing his best blanket impression for a moment. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hunter tries to regain full guard. Instead though, DeNardo has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Hunter wants to hold on but DeNardo pushes him away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#T1# Hunter is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

DeNardo lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
DeNardo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, DeNardo cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

#R1# Hunter misses the shot to the body. A leg kick checked by Cide. Hunter throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Cide misses with an uppercut. Hunter saw that one coming. Cide throws a body punch but Hunter moves out of range. Hunter uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Cide. Hunter looks like he wants to counter punch here. Hunter takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Hunter cracks the inside of Cide's front leg. Cide throws a series of punches but Hunter moves out of range. #KD# Oooooh!!! Cide has knocked Hunter down with a huge combo! Cide steps away and waves a wobbly Hunter back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!#ROC# Hunter is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Cide pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Good standup being displayed there by Hunter as he connects with a hook. Cide tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hunter was well out of range. Poor timing from Cide. Cide misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Oh, it looks like he might have it! Lee has picked Hunter up and slammed him! Hunter can't keep hold of the triangle and Lee manages to pass to side control! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hunter is looking for a sweep. Hunter sneaks back into half guard.#SUB# Hunter looking for a kimura from the bottom but Lee passes into side control! Hunter manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hunter wants to improve his position but Lee is controlling well.

Lee fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Hunter has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. A slapping body kick lands there for Leuka. Leuka slips under a jab from Hunter. Hunter throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Leuka sees it coming and avoids it easily. Hunter looks to land a right hand but Leuka moved out of range. Lasi Leuka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Leuka misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
