#R1# Kent shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bezerra as he jumps to the side. Kent shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bezerra sprawls well. Bezerra wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kent gets slowly back to his feet. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Kent closes the distance and clinches up with Bezerra, looking for a takedown. Kent pushes Bezerra against the cage but Bezerra circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Bruno Bezerra has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Clark Kent. Horrible takedown attempt by Kent or perhaps it was just good defense by Bezerra, which made it look bad. Kent has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Bezerra. Kent on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Bezerra. Bezerra obviously looking to wear him down.

Kent tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bezerra sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kent somewhat. Bezerra jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
#CUT# It looks like Clark Kent has been cut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kent takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Bezerra doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bezerra lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Kent out cold! Kent is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!

#R1# Kent shoots in for a double leg but Asztalos sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Kent has his takedown stuffed and Asztalos counters with a lovely straight right hand! Kent looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Asztalos is fending him off so far but Kent persists. Nope, Asztalos circles away and we're back to standing. An attempted straight right counter from Asztalos misses the target. Alex Asztalos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Clark Kent.#TD2# Kent closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Asztalos is looking to escape. Asztalos keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. #ES# Asztalos has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Kent is on him like a limpet, forcing Asztalos back against the cage. Asztalos lands a hook to the side of the head. Asztalos softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kent tries for a takedown but Asztalos manages to get underhooks.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Asztalos creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Asztalos lands a nice shot to the body. Kent has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Asztalos is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Asztalos moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Asztalos scores with a punch to the head. Asztalos looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Asztalos lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Kent shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Asztalos but Asztalos pushes him off and we're back to square one. Kent fails with a takedown attempt from distance.#KD# Asztalos cracks Kent with a big right hand and Kent goes down!#SU# Asztalos decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. #T2##TD2# Kent gets the takedown into side control. #ES# Asztalos throws Kent to one side and escapes! Asztalos scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Asztalos throws a nice outside leg kick. A shot to the liver by Asztalos. Beautiful body shot. Asztalos scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Asztalos lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Kent gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Asztalos gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Kent is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Alex Asztalos! A relieved looking Alex Asztalos thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
