#R1# Wilson just misses with a punch to the body.
The fighters circling - Wilson throws out the jab but it was never going to land. It appears Cruz was looking to counter with a kick there. Some wild striking there from Wilson.
Wilson throws a nice outside leg kick. Cruz lands with a thumping leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wilson throws a head kick that misses and Cruz counters with a lovely shot to the body. Wilson misses with a looping right. As Wilson looks to move away, Cruz throws a big counter combo but Wilson just gets out of the way. Wilson misses with a right hand and Cruz cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.#CUT# It looks like Slade Wilson has been cut.#T1# Some bone on bone action there as Cruz checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. It appears Cruz was looking to counter with a kick there. Wilson throws a front kick aimed at Cruz's knee but Cruz avoids it well. Cruz pounces like a tiger and cracks Wilson with a vicious hook! Wilson is down but not out! Cruz follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Tre Cruz! Tre Cruz spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.

#R1# Wilson throws a sloppy head kick and Wagner moves out of range easily. Wilson lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Wagner backs up against the cage.
#CUT2# It looks like Benno Wagner has been cut. Wagner throws a leg kick and Wilson counters with a lovely straight right hand! Wagner throws a lazy uppercut
and Wilson counters with a stiff right hand. Wilson misses with a wild combination.
Wagner drops down looking for a counter takedown but Wilson sprawls and moves away.#TD# A momentary lapse in concentration from Wilson enables Wagner to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Wilson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.#ES2# Wilson has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Wagner is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Wilson scores with an uppercut up the middle. Wilson fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Wagner tries to pull guard but Wilson holds him up against the cage and eventually Wagner drops back down to his feet.
Wilson prevents a takedown attempt there.
Wilson has a couple of punches blocked by Wagner .

Wilson tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Wilson lands with a short shot to the head. Wagner blocking some punches.
Wagner is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Wilson to keep the fight standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Benno Wagner . That's going to take a lot out of him.#BC2# Wilson manages to break the clinch.

Our sources have told us that Wagner has been working on his elbows in the gym. Wilson throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.#BC2# Wilson breaks from the clinch.
Wagner shoots in but no luck this time. Wilson tries to land a body kick#TD# and Wagner counters with a nice double leg into side control. Wilson won't be happy with that. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.#SU# Wagner decides to stand back up. Wagner steps back and let's Wilson get back to his feet. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Wagner shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Wilson as he jumps to the side. #T2# Wagner with a lazy takedown attempt and Wilson counters with a nice uppercut. Wilson blocks a head kick by Wagner .
Wilson lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Wagner throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Wilson's waist but Wilson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Wagner off to one side. Wilson stuffs the takedown attempt from Wagner . Wagner gets slowly back to his feet. Jab from Wilson. Wilson scores with a push kick. Wagner is breathing heavily. Wilson throws a nice outside leg kick. Wilson scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Wagner closes the distance and clinches up with Wilson, looking for a takedown. Wagner pushes Wilson against the cage but Wilson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Wilson changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.#T3# Wagner tries for a takedown but Wilson circles away easily and Wilson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. A shot to the liver by Wilson. Beautiful body shot. Wilson scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Wilson scoring well with a low kick there.
Wilson fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Wilson lands a head shot. Wilson connects with a leg kick. Wagner looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Wagner takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Wilson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Wagner moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Wilson bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Wagner 's head backwards. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Wagner looks to clinch and Wilson counters with a left to the body. Wilson fakes the leg kick and cracks Wagner in the body. #T4# Wilson scoring well with a low kick there.
#KD2# Oooooh!!! Wilson has knocked Wagner down with a huge combo! Wilson steps away and waves a wobbly Wagner back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!#ROC2# Wagner is rocked! Wilson cracks the inside of Wagner 's front leg. Wilson with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Wagner shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Wilson defends it nicely. Wilson dips to his left and cracks Wagner with an uppercut! The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Wilson punishes Wagner 's body with a nice straight punch. Wagner fails with an attempt to clinch.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Wilson. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Slade Wilson dominated that round. The cut man is working on Benno Wagner 's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! #R2# Wilson smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Wagner is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Wagner shoots in for a takedown but Wilson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Wagner on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Wagner doesn't succeed with the takedown#KD2# and Wilson counters with a crisp right hand that drops Wagner ! Wilson lets Wagner back up to his feet, looking for a finish! Oh Wagner is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Wilson connects with a body shot. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Wilson connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Wagner out cold! This one is over in a flash!

#R1# A combination from Wilson does no damage. Shogun on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Wilson. Wilson obviously looking to wear him down.
Shogun throws a head kick that misses and Wilson counters with a nice uppercut. #CL# Shogun gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. A left hand lands to the body for Wilson.
Shogun tries to throw a body punch but Wilson avoids it by throwing Shogun back against the cage. Shogun lands an elbow that stopped Wilson in his tracks for a moment. #CUT# It looks like Slade Wilson has been cut. Shogun looking to throw knees to the head but Wilson is blocking nicely.

An uppercut to the body lands inside from Shogun. Shogun working some nice short punches in the clinch. Wilson misses with a hook from the clinch. #BC# Shogun breaks the clinch.
Shogun shoots in and drives through. Wilson sprawls well.#KD# A head kick lands from Shogun that sends Wilson to the canvas. Wilson tries to scramble back to his feet but Shogun brings him back down into side control. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!#SUB# Shogun is trying to get an arm triangle but Wilson is defending well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#SUB# Shogun working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. #T1# Shogun gets to mount! Wilson was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. #SUB# Shogun goes for an armbar but Wilson turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Wilson. Shogun trying to keep a closed guard but Wilson is proving a slippery customer.
Shogun pulls Wilson in close to his closed guard and prevents Wilson from doing any damage or advancing position. Wilson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.#T2# Shogun is trying to control the position but Wilson postures up. Shogun looking to sweep here. No luck so far. #SUB# Shogun is looking for a triangle but Wilson pushes his legs off easily.

A little jabbing left from Wilson on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Shogun tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Wilson paws at him with a jab and circles away. Shogun misses with a head kick.

Shogun looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Wilson fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Shogun. Shogun tries to clinch but Wilson is having none of it. Shogun displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Wilson throws out the jab. Shogun misses with a double jab
