Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Koski. Nice elbow from Koski. Rutten wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Rutten throws a hook but Koski blocks it. Koski throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. A good leg kick by Koski. Rutten looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Nice uppercut there from Koski. Koski throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Rutten sees it coming and avoids it easily. Rutten avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Koski misses with a wild combination.
Koski has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Rutten is landing a low percentage of strikes. This has been an exciting period of action! Koski misses with a wild body shot. Rutten slips under a jab. Rutten doesn't manage to clinch there - Koski circles away.
Rutten uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Koski has time to react. Rutten unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Koski sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Alvarez.#TD# Alvarez darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Koski on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Oh Koski is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Koski throws a low kick, looking for La Bor's leg but La Bor calmly moves out of range. La Bor cracks Koski with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Koski tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but La Bor pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Koski is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Some bone on bone action there as Leach checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Good work by Leach as he checks the leg kick. Koski on the wrong end of a nice jab.
