Pekkarinen clobbers Milan with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Milan avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Milan throws a body shot but no joy.
Milan staying out of range there.
Milan is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
It looked like Pekkarinen wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Milan avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Pekkarinen tries to clinch up but Milan circles away and keeps his distance.
Milan misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A little feinted left hand from Pekkarinen on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Milan's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Pekkarinen connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Milan scrambles back to his feet.

Milan takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Opananu Milan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Pekkarinen connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Milan tumbling to the canvas! Pekkarinen pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Milan was done - good stoppage!

In his post fight interview, Lauri Pekkarinen started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

Milan walks into a straight right hand from Filipowicz.
