White looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can The Kid finish him?
#ROC# White is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The Kid throws a nice inside leg kick. White is still on wobbly legs! Can The Kid finish him? The Kid misses with a left hand #TD2# and White decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in The Kid's guard.#ES# The Kid has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes White off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. White seems to have recovered his senses. White takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.#KD# The Kid feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends White sprawling to the canvas! White rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can The Kid finish him?!

White with a lazy takedown attempt and White takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. #CUT# That has opened up Chris White's cut even more. White takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. White slips a straight right by The Kid. White tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. White takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Edgars Simans seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. White looks to land a body kick but Simans moved away. White displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Simans. White misses with a series of wild punches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. White misses with a double jab

That was a close round but I would say that Chris White will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Simans manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. White wants to take the fight to the mat but Simans manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Edgars Simans seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. White is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Simans leaning against his opponent.

Murhaa has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Murhaa dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on White. That did some damage! White throws a nice looking combination but Murhaa bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Murhaa misses with a body shot.
Murhaa throws a push kick but White slaps the foot to one side. Murhaa throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Murhaa scores with a jab. Murhaa misses with a right hand and White counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. White slips a straight right by Murhaa. Murhaa is looking to slow White down with leg kicks. Murhaa bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Good leg kick by Murhaa there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that White has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
