Magomedov will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Some bone on bone action there as Steiner checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Steiner flicks out a counter leg kick but Magomedov steps away. Magomedov jabs Steiner right on the nose. Steiner blinks but takes it well. Steiner tries to clinch but Magomedov moves out of range. Steiner misses with an uppercut. Magomedov saw that one coming. Magomedov takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. After the fight, Rashid Magomedov was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

#R1# Steiner slips a jab from Francis. Steiner has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Steiner misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Francis is looking to counter punch. Francis throws a looping overhand right but Steiner ducks down to avoid it. Francis throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Francis swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Francis takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Steiner throws a big shot that misses. Francis connects with a crisp jab. Good exchange - Steiner coming out on top. Francis has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Steiner. Steiner misses with a wild body shot. Steiner tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Francis jabs at Steiner's body. Steiner throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Francis stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Steiner walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Steiner fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Spleeth manages to avoid it. Spleeth drops his hands momentarily and Steiner takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. #TD# Spleeth shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Steiner's guard. Steiner wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Spleeth manages to pass to side control. #REVB# We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
