Letang is looking to control Jorgensen's arms but Jorgensen gets an underhook and turns him. Now Letang has his back to the cage. Jorgensen has a couple of punches blocked by Letang.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Letang has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.#TD# Jorgensen works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. #SUB2# Letang working from the bottom, still in full guard. Letang moves in looking to clinch but Boom pushes him off. Boom looks to land a right hand but Letang moved out of range. Boom pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Letang displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Boom throws out the jab. Boom lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Letang has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. A punch combination from Boom misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Letang fails with a takedown attempt.
